Greetings And Welcome To The Desert Of New York,

It is with great humility and excitement that I step into the role of Deputy for The Desert Of New York. My name is HPIC Cassandra B. Duff from Medina Court No. 11 from the Oasis of New York, and I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to serve alongside the Daughters and Nobles that make up The Desert Of New York.
A commitment to learning, service, and community engagement has shaped my journey to this esteemed position. With a Ph.D. (Honorary) in Philosophy
Humanities from the Anointed by God Ministries Alliance and Seminary, I have dedicated myself to pursuing wisdom and understanding, guided by scholarly inquiry and spiritual reflection. My academic journey continued with a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, where I honed my advocacy and social justice skills, driven by a passion for empowering individuals and communities. Building upon this foundation, I pursued a Master of Science in Administration from Metropolitan College, equipping myself with the tools necessary for effective leadership and strategic decision-making.
My academic pursuits began with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Stony Brook University, which ground me in the complexities of human interaction and societal dynamics.
In addition to my academic achievements, I am proud to be a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., an organization dedicated to sisterhood, scholarship, and service. This affiliation reflects my commitment to fostering sisterly bonds and making meaningful contributions to our community, a commitment I hope to continue in my role as Deputy.
Outside my professional and academic endeavors, I find joy and fulfillment in various hobbies and interests. Golf and tennis are recreational activities and opportunities for camaraderie and friendly competition.
Traveling allows me to explore new cultures and broaden my perspective, while volunteerism provides a sense of purpose and fulfillment as I give back to those in need.
Design and decor are both interests but creative outlets through which I express my aesthetic sensibilities. And, of course, fine dining is a cherished indulgence, where I savor the experience of culinary delights and shared moments of conviviality.
For over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of serving as a psychotherapist in private practice, guiding individuals on their journeys toward healing and self-discovery. This experience has deepened my understanding of human behavior and strengthened my commitment to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of others.
While my life currently lacks the companionship of a furry friend, I eagerly anticipate the possibility of welcoming a pocketbook puppy into my home soon.
As we embark on this journey together, I am grateful and optimistic for the opportunities ahead. I am eager to learn from the wealth of knowledge and experience that each of you brings. Let us work hand in hand to nurture the Desert Of New York, uphold its values, and create a future filled with prosperity and unity.

Yours in the faith,
Dt. Cassandra B. Duff, HPIC (11)
Imperial Deputy For The Desert
